On The Road Again - Val-De-Vesle, France

On the way from Cormatin to Amsterdam, we're stopping in Val-de-Vesle.

Where we will sleep

How long? 1 night
How much? €9.61
Check in? Not specified. We’ll be arriving from Cormatin, 4.5 hours away, and aiming for 2.30pm.
Check out? Not specified. We’ll be off early (6am!) though as we need to be in Amsterdam, 6 hours away, by 1pm.
Why we chose it? It's a long trip between Cormatin and Amsterdam and we're going to have to stop overnight half way. It took us a really long time to find something suitable, but this municipal site is roughly half way, and it's cheap.

What we want to see

Moet and Chandon - We’re only here for a night, but if we feel like it we might pop out to visit one of the Houses of Champagne.
15-28 admission per person depending on what you would like to taste.
Opening Hours - Tours run twice daily in the summer, at 9.30am and 2pm for 2.5 hours each.

What we are expecting

Not much! A municipal site is, as best I can gather, something like a council run site, little more than a field with a sign. We stayed in something like this in Huia, outside Auckland, for New Years Eve 2010 and that’s what I’m expecting. No idea how accurate this assumption will be on the other side of the world though!
